Work to your strength

I was at Denny’s today. The waitress told me she had Attention Deficit Disorder. She told me she is not on medication. She enjoys her job and said her ADD works to her benefit. When they are very crazy busy, she floats and loves her job. She said others she works with do not know how she adapts and thrives in this situation. This is a perfect example of someone adjusting and making the best of a “handicap.”

In life, we can allow others to “discount” us and we can go poor, poor pity me or we can adjust and thrive like this waitress did.

  1. I agree and think that how we percieve that which we experience will ultimately decide how we react to it.
