After Andy Gibb, I started listening to Barry Manilow. When I was in 5th grade, I had a cool nun, Sister Sandra Patricia. She greatly influenced who I am. During breaks, she played the Barry Manilow Daybreak album for us. She wore braces. She had catches with the boys with their football. We flipped baseball cards in the schoolyard. She played kickball with us. She played softball with us. She would say we work hard and play hard. We did.

I love Barry Manilow, baseball, baseball cards, softball, and kickball. Sister Sandra Patricia in St. Joan of Arc School in NJ in the 1970’s had a big impact on my life. I am very grateful to her.
