The more I thought… A Safe Place

Let me explain…Maybe a better thought is something to hold onto instead of something to hang your hat on. If your child has something to hold onto, they can hold on when the storms come and the winds howl(peer pressure, drugs, clothing, makeup, do this, be that, loss of confidence, loss of self, society demands…on and on.. My dad died in 2005. You are probably not going to be here forever to watch your child. Even in school, you are not there always. Give them something to hold onto like belief in self, love, talents they enjoy, encouragement, confidence…When the storm comes they know who they are, they know they are loved and can survive. This is a great gift to give any child and Sister Sandra Patricia gave it to me.
