Fighting for Normal?

It’s interesting. I never considered myself “normal” through the years. It was almost a badge of courage for me not to consider myself “normal.” Even as a little girl, I went against the grain. Through high school and college, I did too.

Now as a handicapped person, I tried to be like others and work jobs like them. I could not keep up. I finally realized… I can’t keep up with them and maybe I’m not supposed to. ????????????????
