Life is a Bowl of

I was riding my scooter today. Someone had written in chalk on a utility pole…Life is a bowl of _________. I thought interesting. I remember the Judy Blume book Life is a Bowl of Cherries.  After reading the writings on the pole, I thought it really does depend on the person, day, attitude, etc. For example, I was riding in a wheelchair scooter. Many in that circumstance might finish the writings on the pole by saying…and this is the pits. On the other hand, I am happy overall. It was a beautiful evening. The temperature was great. I got to ponder my thoughts as I rode my scooter. We might have been handed lemons, but if we make lemonade, who is the winner? And we have a cool, refreshing drink to boot!
